Fantastisk flot vejr Thomas og Louise på besøg, indbød til en tur omkring søen, med brød i lommerne. Og sørme om de Canadiske gæs ikke havde landet et lille hold på tre små, søde, bløde gæslinger. Børnene var meget begejstrede over de søde små, og de fik givet dem alt vores brød. Vi skulle dog passe lidt på Far Gås, for han hvæsede noget, når børnene kom for tæt på. Som enhver Far der passer godt på sine små nye puslinger.
Herefter hentede vi Ella, Gracie og Libby og gik på legepladsen, før vi gik en tur i nabolaget. Da Sarah’s piger var fulgt hjem, spiste vi frokost på terassen, inden Thomas og Louise drog hjemad.
Super hyggelig formiddag for Mor sammen med Flora og vennerne.

Stine! i keep staring at your beautiful pictures….
doing some research on a new camera (and in what country my hubby should buy that for me 😉 ) time for some upgrading! what kind of lenses do you us ? any tips for me…?

Hi Annette – We use Canon cameras , a 20D and a 5DmkII. For the 5D we mostly use the 24-70L f2.8 zoom lens. The zoom is nice for some situations but Stine uses the 50mm f1.4 lens on the 20D a lot, and most of the shots on the blog are taken with this older camera and 50mm lens. Stine likes the (now 6 years old) Canon 20D a lot, it fits her hand much better than the new one. In our experience, the lenses are more important than the camera itself for image quality, and the large aperture (f1.4) of the 50mm lens results in a pleasant look with blurred backgrounds in many cases. If you are investing in a Digital SLR, no matter which brand, consider starting with a zoom lens and also a 50mm lens – the 50mm lenses are not very expensive and perform well compared to zoom lenses.
